Ive been a vegetarian for a week, and I need help.?

Ive been a vegetarian for a week and Ive realized a problem. I go to my friends house a lot, be it for the day or the weekend, and they don't really eat a lot of veggie friendly foods. I don't want to make them go through the trouble of trying to concoct something that I can eat. So I need to have foods I can bring along with me that need very little or no cooking, and have nutritional value. I don't eat often, so when I do, I make it count as much as possible. Suggestions?
