Is there something wrong with my veins?

The veins in my arms are extremely visible. They aren't like varicose veins, they are just purple all the way up my arms. You can trace one vein from my thumb to my sholder. In the back of my hands the veins actually stand out like bones. What can I do to fix this? It's embaring to wear short sleves.
