Why is the Indian media so irresponsible?

Agree with you that this is irresponsible. A reporter should only report on the event and give details and not on what should have been done. You have raised a very relevant point. It is high time, the electronic media particularly (since its impact is more forceful) have some sort of self regulation; else the Govt. should intervene and impose some restrictions on the kind and nature of reporting.
