How would you respond to this..?

so i was talkin to some guy and his friend happened to be there. Basically, I was talking about my big time crush and i was all, "i dont care if hes short :D atleast hes taller than me" and the friend was all like, "the question here is if he'll date you *retarded laugh*". -_- that hurttt, it made me feel so worthless and ugly. So guys, how would you respond cleverly to this insult? :D
