How do I remove mildew from upholstery?

Mildew's bonding qualities grow into the upholstery. So, a good scrubbing will not remove the mildew and will leave your fabric looking worn. Also, certain fabrics will bleed and you will have a spot that looks worse! Using chemicals on upholstery is NOT recommended! They can make colors bleed or bleach the area.
