Why is the drinking age 21, it just makes it a attractive nuisance.?

I could name all the thing that become legal at 18 but you already now them. And most of the things that you can do at 18 are not abused (mostly). If you elevate drinking as a right for only adults you make it an act of defiance and a right of page. No wonder it is abused, also since you have to be hidden to drink it makes it harder to provide a safe place for people to “crash” rather than to drive home drunk. And since it is illegal to drink it make it harder for people under 21 to get help even if they decide to go sober. But if you are taking pot or other such drugs help is available at any age since it is illegal at all ages and most states (that is another question all together)
